    Advisory

An operator in your corner before your next board meeting.

Every meaningful bet gets pressure-tested before the money moves, and you walk into each board meeting with a plan you can defend.

    Is this you?

    • Growth slowed, and the board's answer was "re-accelerate."
    • The partner program exists on paper, and the big partners don't call back.
    • There are AI pilots nobody can defend in a finance review.
    • A lot of vendors are pitching you, and there's no time to vet them.
    • A big hire or reorg is coming that you can't afford to get wrong.

    What we do together

We start with a short written intake: the numbers you'd show the board (pipeline by source, win rates, partner-sourced revenue, ramp time, rep productivity) and a few questions about what's on your plate. No interviews and no data cleanup project.

From there it's one or two calls a month with you, and Slack in between for whenever something comes up. Bring whoever else should be in the room, whether that's a co-founder, a peer on the exec team, a board member or your investors. Before any meaningful bet, vendor or senior hire gets money, we run it through the bet check together.

A lot of the most useful work is on GTM papercuts: slow legal turns, approval loops, messy handoffs between teams. They never make the board deck, but they quietly cost deals, and fixing them is usually the fastest win on the list.

Before each board meeting we work on the revenue narrative, so nothing on your plan surprises you or the board.

    Two ways to work

    One call a month

    • A 60-minute call each month
    • Slack in between, for the whole engagement
    • You keep the bet log; I review it
    • Async review of your board deck before each meeting

    Two calls a month

    • Two 60-minute calls each month
    • Slack in between, for the whole engagement
    • We review your bet log together on every call
    • A dedicated board-prep call plus deck review before each meeting
    • Call time for big vendor, hire or partner decisions

    The bet log

You own the bet log, and we use it to think through every call. It's one page, it stays current, and it's the thing most clients end up forwarding to their leadership team or board, so nobody gets surprised.

    What it's not

I don't run your team and I don't sell software. I'll recommend specific tools or vendors when you ask, and not before. If what you need is a full-time hire, I'll tell you, and I'll help you write the job description for the version of the role that exists now.

    Why me

I've carried a number as the #1 rep, built a partner program to 48% of a company's revenue, launched 40+ platform partnerships, and led AI GTM and revenue enablement inside a public company. I still help lead GTM strategy at a high-growth SaaS company today, so I've been on both sides of most of the conversations you're about to have.

    How it usually goes

    1. 1

      First weeks

Intake, a kickoff call on what's actually broken, and the first bets chosen.

    2. 2

      Before the board meeting

Bets pressure-tested and run, then board prep on the revenue narrative.

    3. 3

      After the board meeting

Results read off the bet log, kill or scale, and the next set of bets.

    Investment

Advisory is a monthly retainer starting at $5K/month, with a three-month minimum so we get through at least one full board cycle together. Where you land depends on which of the two ways to work above fits, and we'll cover it on our first call.

    Questions

If this sounds like your quarter, let's talk about it.

The first 30 minutes are on me. If I'm not the right person, I'll let you know by the end.
